OUR RECEPTION STAFF
Toni, Karen and Mandy at the reception desk, will assist you in making appointments, be they routine or emergency. Our reception staff will also organise repeat prescriptions for you. They are always happy to answer any questions or offer help and assistance at all times. Please be aware though, they are sometimes very busy and may not be able to assist you immediately.

OUR PRACTICE NURSES
The practice nurses Nita, Jo and Sylvie are available by appointment only. Their numerous duties include:

  • Taking blood samples
  • Infant and adult immunisations, including travel vaccines
  • Cervical smears
  • IUCD fitting and removal
  • Dressings and removal of stitches
  • Ear syringing
  • Blood pressure, asthma and diabetes check-ups
  • Weight management and a Stop Smoking Clinic (Jo)

The practice nurses also assist the doctors in minor surgery. They are available to offer professional advice if required.

OUR ADMIN STAFF
Our Administration staff work tirelessly in the back room to keep the surgery running.

Our Patient Participation Group
We have a very active Patient Participation Group, where patients work together with the practice team to improve the Primary Care Services delivered by the surgery.

STUDENTS
The practice is involved in teaching medical students from St. George’s Hospital. We would be grateful if you would allow students to sit in on your consultation if requested, but will always respect your right to see the doctor alone if this is what you prefer. Reception staff will always ask you if you have any objections to the student’s presence prior to your consultation
